Their are no words to describe the loss to your family and friends. How though we will have the memories you filled us with, they will always be remembered and talked about with love, passion, fondness and laughter. You were the role model of the family man, your love, support and humour to your immediate family but like me an additional member of the team!! You've always made me feel special to be a friend of the family. I will try and continue to bring silly moments like nearly falling in the pond, care and support them the best I can. I know you enjoyed life, experienced so many things and shared your love with Sue, you've always been so proud of Jeremy and Vicki and Yvonne and the grandchildren and will continue to be the angel looking over them X
Rob was a funny man who let Jeremy, Alastair and myself get up to all sort of mischief in our youth. His character will be missed by the many people who knew him.

Rob, my best friend's dad, and my second dad. We always joked about who was his best son, me or Jeremy. Rob was a kind man who didn't suffer fools lightly, so I'm surprised he made me feel so welcome whenever I visited!
I remember one summer holiday as a teen, Rob "employed" me and his son Jeremy to sift through a mountain of rocks, searching for suitable stones so that he could build a stone wall near the pond. I can't remember how much he paid us, but I sure know we earned it!
Thank you Rob, for letting us use your old offices as a place for myself, Jeremy and our friends to socialise and of course have a few alcoholic beverages. These were great times which I'm sure we will never forget!
You were taken far too soon.
Old bean. You taught me so much. I loved you like a second father. Thank you for allowing me to marry your daughter...she has your strength and soft side. I shall miss you so much. I shall cherish the tools you gave me and will think if you when I use them. I hope heaven has a leaky tap
