Grandad, I couldnt of gotten through life without you. You may of thought you needed us but we needed you just as much and you were always there. I have a lifetime of love from you and all of our adventures together. I couldnt thank you anymore for being such an amazing father figure and always giving your time to us. Ill miss you more than you could ever know and there will always be an ache in my heart but I know youll be with me forever. Rest peacefully grandad until I see you again. I love you️

In memory of John, now reunited with his beloved wife Margaret. An amazing Father, Grandad and Great Grandad, and Great Great Grandad who nurtured his large family with love, support and encouragement always. He has left a big hole in everyone's lives by leaving us but I know that Margaret and John are with us in our lives every step of the way. Condolences to devoted daughter Kim who cared for him intensely ensuring he could remain in his own home until the end. Thank you Marge and John for letting me be part of your lives for the last 50 years, you taught me so much about life, values and nature. Every time I hear a wryneck John I always think of you, and I will always your laugh !
