Known Herbie for approx 9 yrs through my Ex Partner who is Herbs sons sister. Lovely bloke, always was, got to know him well after my split with ex, wish I had more time with him as was a genuine, kind heareted bloke who would help anyone he could. One of the nicest blokes to come in pub. Have alot of respect gor him for how he handled everything. Strong man.

Known Herbie many of years... but for the last 2 years ive been running the Tap and Barrel... Herbie not only was a regular but become a true friend ... gone but never ever forgotten.. RIP m8

R.I.P Herb you were a top man and remembering our school and Paragon days of yester-year can only make me smile! That school trip coming back from Hampton Court still cracks me up! Even the song You wrote back in 82 called visions I still remember like it was yesterday - no one else was doing that sort of thing you were deffo a One off.
