Paul was the most amazing man. A larger than life character, kind and generous, who's sense of humour was legendary, even if they were terrible jokes most of the time.
<br />
He had the kindest heart and would go out of his way to give someone a pound or a dollar if they were down on their luck.
As Paul would put it, he wasn't afraid of anything that walked on two legs. Paul had a strong belief in God and the afterlife and truly believed we would all see him again.
<br />
He loved to "hold court" and was a great orator. This was proven many times as a Worshipful Brother in the Freemasons, he loved the official roles he took on as part of Temple Lodge 6673 at Park Street, Bristol.
<br />
Paul will be missed by many people, his sons Kriss & Jamie and their families, his grandson and 5 step-grandchildren, his fiancee Gwynie, mum Brenda, brother Phil and sister Lisa, step-children, in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. He touched us all.
<br />
Please take a moment to remember Paul, his memory lives on in all of us.
Please share your memories, thoughts, and words of condolence, so that this great man will see how much he is loved, honoured and respected by us all. Thank you.

Paul, you were a huge part of my childhood and I have so many fond and wonderful memories of you. You were my Dad's best friend and I therefore spent lots of time in your lovely company. Your unique laugh will never be forgotten, and neither will your (sometimes awful) jokes! You will always hold a special place in my heart. Sending so much love to your family at this difficult time. I look forward to seeing you again one day Paul. God bless xxx
My uncle Paul, what fond memories I have. Although we never saw each other often, like an old best friend, it simply did not matter. Months could go by, years even but whenever I saw you it was as if we'd seen each just yesterday. Such a kind soul and so very funny. Who couldn't love your terrible jokes when you laughed that wonderful laugh, it was impossible not to laugh too. I still tell that classic you told me to my year 11 pupils each year: If you fail your exams kids, remember two things: 1) you tried your best and 2) I don't want gherkins on my Big Mac :)
Such a wonderful man, simply like no other. It makes me happy that you found the love of your life and you were so happy.
I'll miss you uncle Paul. Xxx

My brother, my friend, my inspiration! Oh Paul life will never be the same without your laugh, your huge hugs, your sound advice & those 'quotes'...how did it go "Love a lot, trust a few but always paddle your own canoe"! Your passing has left the biggest hole in my heart that will never fill but I promise that I'll live your dream for you & make you proud! Even more so, I promise to take care of mum just as you would. Until we meet again. Love you til eternity
Condolences to you Gwynie and to all affected by Paul's passing - I too never met him but his personality shines through and must have enriched many lives. He will ever shine in your hearts x
He will be sadly missed. I shared many things with him, not only work related as we were work mates. I will never forget the work trip we did together driving all the way to Bavaria and how happy he was to have his Gwynie in his life. I will miss his jokes, his sense of humour, his kindness, his generosity his big heart, his positive attitude, so many different things that made him such a great man. He will always have a place in my heart. One day will meet again and we will a laugh together again. RIP my dear friend.
