Margaret Bateson

Margaret my mother was a wonderful mum and she always liked a good giggle especially as she had a wicked sense of humour. Mum loved her family and her family were very inportant to her. Margaret loved her brothers and sister and she especially enjoyed spending time with them at Christmas, birthdays and other occasion. Margaret had made many friends over the years and she kept in touch with them. Margaret also took care of her nephews, Bev's children, and her own during the school holidays while their parents worked.   Margaret was always fun to be around. She enjoyed going on holidays with her husband and her girl friends. Margaret always thought about others and she showed this by being a true friend to everyone she met. Margaret took care of her own mother and she did this with ease. She loved being a grandmother and a great auntie to so many young ones as she would love to spend time with them and she would always remember everyones birthday as she would like to buy them gifts not just for birthdays but for christmas and easter too etc. She loved shopping and she also like a drink or two. When partying with her freinds she was the life and sole of the party.   Margaret battled with her illness for 10 years which finally defeated her. Even right to the end she never complained she just got on with her day and she always had a smile.   Claire
