My beautiful hilarious old school friend-Im so sad to know youve gone. I have nothing but brilliant and funny memories of our time together. Always so tall compared to midget me and always so full of energy and fun. I loved seeing your photos. I wont forget you and the smile that took over your whole lovely face. Rest in peace my friend, for me you are forever young ️
I first Rebecca when I decided to start my journey into Judaism. Rabbi Hadassah Davies had suggested that Rebecca act as my mentor, and also help me with learning Hebrew. This was an inspired choice and I learned so much from Rebecca, and we got on really well. Over time, where poor health presented restrictions for Rebecca, we were still able to keep in touch and I remember Rebecca's joy at moving to her lovely flat. I still remember the little garden plot that she made outside her front window. Music was obviously very important to Rebecca and was a wonderful piano teacher to my son Liam ( then about 10; now 28). I remember that her neighbours were also very important to her, and I am sure that she was to them. I haven't seen Rebecca for for a while now, but I bright memories of her, her intelligence, her biting wit, and her infectious enthusiasm. I wish you peace, Rebecca.
