To the beloved children, grand-children, great grandchildren and family of our Mother Gwen our hearts and prayers are with you.
Where do we begin. Mummy Gwen has been a dear part of my life for more than 30 years. I have so many fond and funny memories of our talks and visits together. Mummy Gwen saved me from many a Mummy Hibbert beating and always had a kind and encouraging word for me, my Mother and in recent years my husband. We shared a love for my Mum’s carrot cake and whenever I would deliver her cake to you, you would always allow me a cheeky slice! So many memories of rides to church where you would command the traffic to “clear away in the name of Jesus” your chuckle was infectious and your love for God and your family inspiring. Your passing still does not seem real to us but we draw strength from knowing you are resting in sweet peace in the arms of God.
Rest on beautiful Mummy Gwen you will be so greatly missed but your legacy and example to the daughters of Bethel Church will live on.
Sonia, Barbara and Carol.
We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mum was a kind sweet person with a caring spirit. To our family she was a Cousin, Sister, Aunty and a friend to our family she was Priceless. She will be missed.
"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy".
Rest in Heaven...

Mother Gwen, can’t believe we will never see your beautiful smiling face on this side of life again. Can’t believe we will never taste your amazing stir fry vegetables again. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Love and miss you.
Sonia, Barbara and Carol. I was totally shocked to her of the loss of your gorgeous mum. Growing up she was everyone's mum. I came into contact with her more each time I walked into the Bus Station Ticket Office to book my ticket to London over 30 years ago. She would see me in the queue and whilst remaining as professional as always gave me the eye contact to wait for her to serve me. It was like this everytime apart from when she was on holiday. Mummy Gwen. You were loved in life and will be loved even now. You have left a great legacy through your family and church. We missed you and whilst gone from us you will never be forgotten. Rest in Eternal Peace
To the family of dear Mother Gwen, our hearts go out to you. There is now a space that no one else can fill. The Lord is your strength. He will uphold you with His righteous right hand. You are in our thoughts. Love and blessings X

There is no time in my life that I have not had you in my life...you are the best friend of my mum & late daddy.
So it is with the greatest pleasure you have been 'My Auntie Gwen' for all of my life.
You were amazing when my dad died your love for my mum and our family held our broken hearts.
I am proud to say my mother having a friend like you, as given me the greatest honour. It as given me the best start in life to know what it is truly to have a best friend.
I feel so blessed, to have had you in my life, I am glad my son too, got to share your sparkling presence. ( I belly laughed when you said, "Movan, the 'baby' having a baby!)
There is never a moment you did not stop and have time to talk. Your sense of humour and sparkling smile that always ended with a wink and a pinch to remind me of where you live to always stop to have a chat.
Your words of humorous wisdom will always warm my heart. I stand tall at times when I have had to make difficult decisions in my adult life and always smile if it's based on your words of wisdom.
Our hearts are broken. I feel you've gone too soon we were not quite ready...
When our tears are falling for your loss it is a mixture of joyful memories of coach trips, ferry crossings, singing and laughter...and your last giggle was your waiting for a wedding invite! Trust me had I found my husband, a new hat would be delivered with the invite!
Our 'Aunty Gwen' Miss You! we will always, always love you.....Rest In Eternal Peace xxx

By the grace of God you will always remain in my heart. RIP Aunty Gwen. love Norma and family.

In death you draw even more men onto the Christ that you so faithfully served. That we should leave such a legacy would be a prayer come truth. Faithful servant of God. "Well done my good and faithful one. Enter in."
